Big Bang celebró una conferencia de prensa para su 2012 Big Show / Big Bang, Gira Viva en el estadio de Gimnasia en los Juegos Olímpicos de Seúl, Park el 2 de marzo, y los chicos fueron acompañados por el director ejecutivo de la gira y el productor Laurie Ann Gibson.

Big Bang Dreams Big for World Tour
Idol group Big Bang revealed it has big goals for its world tour.

When asked what kind of turning point the world tour will be for the group, member Taeyang said, “I see our Alive album and this tour as a big opportunity to go to the next level.” He added, “We are able to go on this ‘Alive’ tour because the world has taken interest in our album.”
“I’m already looking forward to being inspired and moved by the people in the countries I’ve never visited,” said Taeyang. “Although there is the burden of representing Korean music for the first time and showing it to fans around the world, I’m looking forward to it. If [promotions for] this album and the tour wrap up well, I think we’ll be able to become a group that is loved by even more countries.”
G-Dragon added, “After we make our show known through the world tour, our goal is to get them to come to Korea for our shows.” He also said, “This show will be a turning point for Big Bang,” before adding, “We will do our best until then.”
The group’s leader continued, “I think it’s time for us to take things up a notch with this concert. We’re at an age where music is understood throughout the world, and we don’t want to pass up this opportunity. We’ll work hard so that the hallyu fever will last longer and spread farther, and we’d like to be at the center [of the movement] of Korean artists introducing Korean culture to foreign countries.”
Big Bang has partnered with global events promoter Live Nation for the world tour, and the members are set to traverse 16 countries and 25 cities in an upgraded version of its highly-popular Big Show tour.
The Seoul leg of the tour will take place from March 2 to 4, where Big Bang will perform the tracks from its new album, released on February 29, for the first time.
